“The journey to India with EKHOS was — and continues to be — a deeply spiritual experience, one that didn't end when I returned home more than five months ago. On a very concrete level, it allowed me to witness social realities with a rawness and beauty that moved me deeply. Seeing people living in extreme poverty asking for help made me reflect on how, all over the world, NGOs, foundations and social and environmental projects also have to ask — corporations, governments, society — and how difficult it can be to sustain that work with dignity. From that experience, ROSA was born: a platform connecting social causes with people who want to donate, and with purpose-driven ventures that offer benefits in return. ROSA seeks to create a circular ecosystem based on generosity, inspired by the compassion of an India that asks, but also gives: through its eyes, gestures and wisdom. On a personal level, this journey helped me understand the connection between the spiritual and the social, and transform a deep aspiration into a concrete project.”

“For me, the journey was a great opportunity for transformation. It moved me and left a lasting mark. If I had to choose one word to describe the greatest value I took away from the Impact Journey, it would be ‘connection’: connection with my fellow travellers, with myself, with an unfamiliar country and culture, and with a different way of creating social impact. After the journey, I decided to change my professional direction and continue working independently on projects that generate social impact. I also started developing an agency called Media Pausa, which supports women who lead brands, bringing freshness and renewal to brands facing challenges in their development. In my new projects, I am applying what I learned about the Social Enterprise business model and the values of common sense, compassion and integrity.”

“Travelling to India with EKHOS was a deeply transformative experience, both professionally and personally. During the journey, I not only discovered the world of Social Enterprises and sustainable development models from a human-centred and community-based perspective, but I also began to see clearly how these ideas could take root in my own environment. It was through travelling through places where scarcity coexists with ancestral wisdom that two projects began to take shape: Huerta Factory and Puyén (currently in development). Today, these initiatives promote composting, sustainable mobility and ecological farewell rituals for our pets, all within the framework of the circular economy.”

“The journey was a combination of learning, networking, reflection, tourism and fun. The programme is incredibly comprehensive without ever losing sight of Social Enterprise and Fair Trade. We experienced an entire ecosystem, diverse in its people, colours and landscapes. We began with a meeting with the Argentine Ambassador to India and her team, followed by high-level encounters with all kinds of ecosystem players: local men, women and children sharing their experiences, impact entrepreneurs and investors, bankers, globally recognised philanthropists, spiritual leaders, multinational executives, leading academics and many others. What made the programme even more exciting and rich was discovering that we ourselves became part of the story: an interdisciplinary group that, upon returning home, continued developing projects and supporting one another to create even more impact. There is no better place than India, and no better way than EKHOS's proposal, to understand both the need for impact and the mechanisms required to create the right kind of impact.”

“My experience in India was incredibly enriching in every way. Above all, it allowed me to experience a completely different reality from the one I was used to. The combination of professional visits to the social ecosystem with visits to both iconic and lesser-known places in the country was particularly well thought out. Villages and cities, multinational companies and rural entrepreneurs — contrasts everywhere you look. The landscapes, people and culture of India create a composition that is difficult to put into words. Through this journey I discovered ‘another world’ and realised that anything is possible!
